    "description": "We are inviting expressions of interest from qualified and experienced sub-contractors for the design and delivery of our Deep Drainage Works Package as part of an upcoming UK highways infrastructure project.\r\n\r\nThis package will involve design input and the installation of deep drainage systems including excavation, pipe laying, manhole construction, connection to existing networks, and reinstatement works. All activities must be carried out in accordance with the Specification for Highway Works Series 500, relevant British Standards (e.g. BS EN 1401-1, BS EN 1852-1), and applicable environmental and safety regulations.\r\n\r\nThe scope may also include:\r\nProvision of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and drainage record sheets.\r\nCompliance with permit requirements (e.g. permit to dig, confined space entry).\r\nCoordination with local authorities and statutory undertakers.\r\n\r\nInterested sub-contractors must demonstrate:\r\nProven experience in delivering deep drainage works on highways projects.\r\nAppropriate certifications for materials and installation methods.\r\nRobust health, safety, quality assurance, and environmental management systems.\r\n\r\nTo express your interest and receive further details-including pre-qualification requirements and tender timelines-please respond to this notice by 15.10.25.\r\n\r\nAdditional information: The Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) is a new road to better connect Essex and Kent through a tunnel beneath the River Thames.
