    "description": "DVLA requires a Merchant Acquirer (MA) service to support the secure processing, authorisation, settlement and reporting of credit and debit card transactions across DVLA\u2019s online, telephony and automated payment channels. The service must support cardholder\u2011not\u2011present transactions, comply with PCI DSS standards, integrate with DVLA\u2019s Payment Gateway, and provide the required management information, reconciliation and chargeback handling.\nThe contract will support DVLA services including Electronic Vehicle Licensing (EVL), personalised registrations, driver licensing, tachograph services and other payment\u2011reliant transactions. No volumes are guaranteed and projected volumes are indicative only.\nThe contract will be let for 5 years with an option to extend for up to 2 additional years (5+2). The procurement is being conducted via the Open Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023.",
