It shall be the duty of The Service Provider to carry out the operation and maintenance of all lifts plant, including servicing and completing repairs, as contained within the Specification. This will also include: Providing a high quality maintenance service that will fulfil The Authorities obligations to their staff and lift users. BCH have been named as a Contracting Authority for the purposes of this tender and in this Contract Award Notice however they may or may not choose to proceed with the contract award. Any agreement for their requirements will be a separate contract with the service provider and will be managed by BCH. Blackpool Borough Council also manage the lift maintenance on behalf of Fylde Borough Council. These assets were included within the tender documents and the pricing schedule. Blackpool Borough Council are further taking over management of Wyre Borough Council's assets. These may or may not be included from the commencement of the contract due to current arrangements in place. It is anticipated they will be 'on board' by mid 2026.
