Lot Description: North Yorkshire Council hosts a variety of events throughout the year at a number of venues. Delivery of this service will primarily be in Scarborough and Whitby but could be required across other areas of the county on an ad hoc basis. The aim for this service is to ensure that there is an appropriate level of medical, first aid and ambulance provision at an event to keep attendees safe and minimise the impact on local NHS services. The provider will be required to: • Undertake a medical, ambulance and first aid assessment. • Produce a medical staffing plan prior to each event to ensure that staff are deployed appropriately • Provide medical provision for the full duration of each event, including build up and derig. This notice sets out the intention to conclude a competitive process and award a framework agreement to a single supplier for provision of Event Medical Services. The framework will be in place for a duration of 4 years from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2030 and will be used by North Yorkshire Council only. The maximum framework value will be £550,000. Additional information: This procurement is a Competitive Process to establish a single-supplier framework. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015/Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.
