    "description": "City of Wolverhampton Council, on behalf of Black Country Transport, is the Contracting Authority for the Black Country Highways Works Framework, in partnership with the following Partner Organisations:\n\u2022 Birmingham City Council\n\u2022 Dudley MBC\n\u2022 Sandwell MBC\n\u2022 Walsall MBC\n\u2022 Wolverhampton Homes\n\u2022 West Midlands Combined Authority\nThe procurement exercise is for a new Highway Works Framework to replace the current Black Country Minor Works Framework, which is approaching expiry.\nThe scope of the Framework includes:\n\u2022 Excavation of existing carriageway, footways\n\u2022 Landscape areas and removal of trees\n\u2022 Flexible pavement and footway construction\n\u2022 Removal and installation of road markings\n\u2022 Signing works\n\u2022 Installation of new drainage\n\u2022 Installation of new traffic signals and pedestrian crossings\n\u2022 Installation of lighting columns, bollards and electrical connections\n\u2022 Infilling of existing subway and associated demolition works\n\u2022 Protection to existing underground services if required\n\u2022 Co-ordination of Statutory Undertakers works\n\u2022 Associated landscape works\n\u2022 Construction of park and ride facilities\nThe estimated value of Works expected to be procured through the Framework during the 4-year term excluding VAT is \u00a3150,000,000 but there are no guarantees of minimum or maximum value or business placed as a result of the Framework Agreement.\nThe procurement is divided into four lots - Tenders may be submitted for a maximum of any 2 lots\n\u2022 Lot 1 - Under \u00a3250,000\n\u2022 Lot 2 - \u00a3250,000.01 to \u00a3750,000\n\u2022 Lot 3 - \u00a3750,000.01 to \u00a35,000,000\n\u2022 Lot 4 - \u00a35,000,000.01 to \u00a310,000,000",
