    "description": "Cumberland Council seeks to spot-purchase specialist seating equipment to support individuals with assessed eligible needs through the Community Equipment Service (CES). The aim is to enhance independence, safety, and wellbeing by providing timely access to high-quality, clinically appropriate seating solutions.\nThe requirement includes two primary chair types:\n\u2022\tSpecialist Riser Recliner Chairs\n\u2022\tSpecialist Tilt-in-Space Chairs\nThe Council intends to award a contract to a single supplier to enable spot-purchasing of Specialised Chairs as and when required throughout the contract term. The contract will have a maximum value of \u00a3350,000 and will be in place for an initial period of 18 months, with the option to extend for a further 12 months, provided the full contract value has not been reached during the initial term.
