    "description": "West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) and North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) are conducting an open tendering procedure to attract providers with the necessary skills and experience to deliver safe accommodation (refuge) and support services for victims and survivors of domestic abuse, as defined by the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.\nThe services to be delivered under contract are:\n\u2022\tRefuge accommodation, women\u0027s only refuge, men\u0027s only refuge, specialist drug and alcohol refuge and a specialist multi-cultural/diversity refuge across 47 units of accommodation; bed spaces.\n\u2022\tTherapeutic group work with adult survivors;\n\u2022\tTherapeutic group work with children and young people including play therapy;\n\u2022\tCounselling service;\n\u2022\tChildren\u0027s and Young people\u0027s outreach support including a CHIDVA (Children\u0027s IDVA);\n\u2022\tFloating support/outreach, community based;\n\u2022\tInformation and Advice - Helpline;\n\u2022\tAwareness raising training \n\u2022\tHousing IDVAs;\n\u2022\tSanctuary Scheme;\n\u2022\tNo recourse to public funds\n\u2022\tBy and for service to supporting diverse communities including harmful practices and training.\nThe services will be delivered as a 3+1+1 year contract, commencing in April 2026.",
