    "description": "The University is seeking a specialist display case manufacturer to provide a suite of museum grade showcases for the main exhibition spaces. A previous tender issued in 2024 requested a requirement for high specification showcases for changing exhibition spaces at Old College. For this new tender opportunity, the display case requirement will be set within the main gallery spaces and compromise a range of shapes and sizes of glass showcases, hoods and protective vitrines. The display cases will be utilised to present a range of in-house collections, loans and donated objects. These include paintings, ceramics, taxidermy, scientific instruments and objects from social and educational history . The showcases will be in fixed locations as part of the permanent interpretation design for the gallery spaces.",
