We believe that school life should be enjoyed for itself and not just as a preparation for adulthood. Opportunities for learning and enriching experiences beyond the classroom are excellent; sport and music are very strong. Lessons engage pupils\u0027 attention with pace and challenge, enriched with all sorts of activity to extend pupils\u2019 interests and skills far beyond the confines of the National Curriculum and examination specifications. Teachers know the boys very well and visitors often comment on the laughter, good humour and warmth that mark relationships between boys and staff.\nFurther information can be obtained here: https://www.wilsons.school/\nTender information:\nThe successful tenderer will be required to provide cleaning and wardening services to Wilson\u2019s School.\nThe contract term being tendered is for three years, 19th July 2025 \u2013 18th July 2028. There is an option for a further extension period for up to two additional years to 18th July 2030.\nThe contract offers an excellent opportunity to review and propose enhancements to the current cleaning services at the School. This includes both core term time cleaning and periodic deep cleaning throughout the year .\nThe school is keen to secure a high-quality cleaning service whereby its students are able to enjoy excellence in education, supported by excellently kept facilities. \nThe school expects both a tightly managed service and high levels of productivity to be delivered by the cleaning staff at all times. The school is also proud of its ethos and values (represented in its motto \u2018Not for oneself but for all\u2019) and expects a management style delivered by the successful contractor that supports, encourages and develops the cleaning staff. \nThe school also requires a wardening service to be provided by the successful contractor whereby an overview of this requirement is the provision of an opening and closing service along with porterage, facilities set up, caretaking and light maintenance duties across 7 days a week.\nThe school is not obliged to accept the lowest price submitted for this tender, rather the school is keen to secure best value from this contract and to deliver best value to its students. Innovative and creative ideas as to how the cleaning and wardening services can be developed and improved, will be welcomed. The school seeks a contractor that is keen to work in partnership and who will deliver to its highest abilities, at all times.\nValue of contract:\nThe annual value of the current contract is \u00a3289,068 (the total cost of cleaning per annum, for the last contract year).\nTherefore the value of this contract is \u00a31,445,342 (total annual costs from the last contract year as above x 5 as this contract is for a maximum of 5 years). \nThe contract shall be a fixed price contract with invoices raised monthly to the school.\nAdditional requirements and information:\n\u2022The School has a minimum requirement for a contractor\u2019s employers\u0027 liability and public liability insurance of \u00a35 million. \n\u2022The minimum annual turnover that your company must have achieved to be considered for this opportunity is \u00a31 million.\n\u2022There are incumbent cleaning staff currently within the Local Government Pension Scheme\n\u2022The cleaning services are currently contracted to Cleantec.",
