    "description": "To support decision-making by the funders at WMCA and in turn, to support AVFC in their\r\ndecision to proceed with their stadium upgrade project, we require a costed concept design\r\nfor Witton and Aston Stations to be approved through WMCA governance by October 2025.\r\nThis design should demonstrate an upgraded and safe solution for passengers in time for the\r\nEuros and the longer-term commitment for upgrades to Witton station. In particular, the\r\nsolution should mitigate the high number of pedestrians and passengers who occupy and\r\nblock Witton Road post-event to improve the safety of travel through Witton on event days.\r\nThis may include interventions at Aston and a complementary operating strategy across both\r\nstations",
