This framework offers the opportunity for SMEs to bid which generally may not be achievable under the multiple elements\u2019 framework.",

CHIC is a non-profit making organisation, owned by its members.\nAt the establishment of a framework, in the pricing documents, there is a transaction fee added to the Suppliers prices. The level of the fee varies according to the type of works, supplies or services and the contract value. Under call off contracts this fee will be collected by the supplier in the prices charged to members and paid (rebated) to CHIC, which will invoice on a retrospective basis.\nCHIC reserves the right to vary the transaction fee (which can range from 0.5%-4%) for individual contracts, dependent upon the contract value and level of management support each member requires.",
