    "description": "The contract is for the supply of architectural design services to support the Bank of England (the Bank) in the consolidation and refurbishment of its Threadneedle Street Estate. \nThe Bank requires the provision of architectural design services across all Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) work stages. The supplier will need to adapt to the Bank\u0027s chosen delivery model (Traditional vs Design \u0026 Build) and deliver at all times recognising the Threadneedle Street building is an operational historically significant building and a secure environment.  \nThe services included in the scope of this procurement include, but is not limited to:\n\u2022\tDesign development and coordination \n\u2022\tEnsuring compliance with regulatory requirements\n\u2022\tCollaborating with internal and external stakeholders across design disciplines, and other procured services (e.g., MEP engineers, project management, etc) to successfully deliver \n\u2022\tProduction of feasibility studies, technical drawings and documentation\n\u2022\tProvision of construction oversight\nService delivery will require a wide range of specialisms, including, but not limited to:  \n\u2022\tHeritage Specialist Advice\n\u2022\tListed Building Advice\n\u2022\tPlanning Specialist Advice\n\u2022\tPrincipal Designer Obligations (CDM)\n\u2022\tWorkplace Design (e.g. Office Floors / Meeting Rooms)\nFurther details in relation to the services (including delivery models and ways of working with the Bank) are set out in the Statement of Requirements provided as part of the associated tender documents. \nThe services will be supplied through a combination of on-site and off-site resources.\nThe Bank intends to (and reserves the right to) directly award additional or repeat services that are similar to the services supplied under the contract which is the subject matter of this Tender Notice, in accordance with Schedule 5, paragraph 8 of PA 2023.",
