The combined capacity of the weigh pads was required to be no less than 5 tonnes (5,000 kg), and the weight indicator had to be digital and powered by a rechargeable battery. The weigh pads were also required to be wireless and waterproof, suitable for outdoor use. Additionally, the solution needed to include the integration of ramps to facilitate the boarding of vehicles. Delivery was required to 22 locations across England and Wales, and a 12-month warranty was specified.",
