The framework will be set up to appoint a single Supplier who will act as the main provider.\nBAS operates out of Punta Arenas as its primary gateway for servicing Rothera Research Station in Antarctica, as a port and as a base for aircraft operations. A gateway agent is an essential part of this operation, carrying out the duties described in detail below, facilitating BAS operations through Punta Arenas.\nThis Agreement is for a duration of 2+1+1 years.\nThe full scope of the services that will be undertaken during the Agreement period is not known, and therefore no guarantee can be given as to the actual amount or type of work that may be ordered during the Agreement period.",
