To provide small scale, flexible, responsive, high quality local care services to sit alongside Cumberland existing Commissioned Adult Care Services (Homecare, Extra Care, Supported Living \u0026 Day Opportunities.) To provide Cumberland customers with choice and control over their own care.\nThe role of the Supplier is to facilitate and support the development of local innovation and development, bringing knowledge and expertise in the field of micro-enterprise development and prevention services. \nThe council proposes to enter into the contract for an initial period of 12 months with the successful tenderer.  There are 2 optional extensions for up to 12 months each.  These optional extensions are at the absolute discretion of the council.\nIf the contract runs for the initial period only it will end on 01/08/2026.  If the contract uses all of the optional extension periods it will end on 01/08/2028\nThe maximum total value of the overall Cumberland Microenterprises Service over the total contract period (including any extensions periods) is a maximum value of \u00a3303,000. but no guarantee is given as to the actual value of the contract. \nFor further details and to access the tender documents, including the service specification, please use our online procurement portal - The Chest - https://www.the-chest.org.uk.
