    "description": "Herefordshire Council is seeking to appoint service providers (pharmacies) for both the Pharmacotherapy and the Stop Smoking Behavioural support services in Herefordshire. The contract duration is 2 years with an option to extend for up to 2 years.\nThe tender is being carried out using the Competitive Process under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.\nThe appointed service providers will work with Herefordshire community Healthy lifestyle stop Smoking Service to enable healthcare professionals to refer and patients to be referred (directly or indirectly and where they consent) to a pharmacy of their choice to start their smoking cessation treatment, including providing medication and support as required.\nThe service is divided into 2 Lots:\nLot 1: Provision of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) pharmacotherapy.\nLot 2: Behavioural Stop Smoking Support services.\nContracts will be awarded to multiple successful providers. A provider may apply for and be appointed to more than one Lot.",
