The operation of the Sports Facilities should achieve the following mutually desirable outcomes: The National Curriculum requirements for physical education. The sports facilities are available for the maximum possible community use. The sports facilities are safe, secure and properly maintained for all users. The maintenance of a balanced programme of use, which satisfies academy needs and provides for a wide range of community use in compliance with conditions associated with any external funding.\nThese programmes may include:- Opportunities for beginners, for people wishing to improve their sporting skills via programmes of coaching and competition and training for players coaches and officials- Specific activities, aimed at attracting new participants to a range of sport and physical activity. To develop positive attitudes towards the benefits of participation in sport and physical education.",
