The outdoor sports areas and facilities to be made available for community use are the following \u2022 3G pitch\u2022 Multi Use Activity Area (MUGA)\u2022 Mini Athletics Track.  \nThe facilities are located alongside Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre.\nThe primary objective of the Sports Facilities is to provide educational, recreational, social, leisure and cultural opportunities for academy students and the community and to provide opportunities for local people and sports organisations to participate in sport and physical activity and to develop their skills, particularly among low participant groups.   The operation of the Sports Facilities should achieve the following mutually desirable outcomes: The National Curriculum requirements for physical education.   The sports facilities are available for the maximum possible community use. The sports facilities are safe, secure and properly maintained for all users. The maintenance of a balanced programme of use, which satisfies academy needs and provides for a wide range of community use in compliance with conditions associated with any external funding.    \nThese programmes may include:- Opportunities for beginners, for people wishing to improve their sporting skills via programmes of coaching and competition and training for players coaches and officials- Specific activities, aimed at attracting new participants to a range of sport and physical activity. To develop positive attitudes towards the benefits of participation in sport and physical education.",
