The key aims of this new facility is to provide a beautiful and sustainable alternative to the residents of East Cambridgeshire and surrounding area. To assist with this aim, it has been decided that an electric cremator will be installed.\nProduction, supply and installation of an electric cremator and supporting equipment, as listed below.\nSupporting equipment includes\n\u00b7 Automatic charging bier\n\u00b7 Attachment for automatic charging bier for little cremations\n\u00b7 Control system\n\u00b7 Extraction box above the oven entry\n\u00b7 Crematoria Emissions Monitoring system\n\u00b7 Reporting tool\n\u00b7 Single Stream Filtration installation\n\u00b7 Raking box and tools\n\u00b7 Ash pan lift\n\u00b7 Ash pan trolley\n\u00b7 Cremulator\n\u00b7 Ash treatment table with ashpan storage\n\u00b7 Electric driven coffin trolley\n\u00b7 Remote control for charging\n\u00b7 Secondary heat exchanger\nTraining of operatives on the equipment supplied and ongoing maintenance contract with UK based provider.\nThe provision of the electric cremator needs to be within the constraints of the new building, changing the build layout at this stage is not a possibility due to cost implications for redesign work.\nThe floor area available in the cremator hall for the cremator and the supporting equipment is 71m2. This does not include the floor area that has been allocated for the committal hall.\nThere is also the constraint for the delivery and installation of the cremator to fit with the build programme, with an anticipated installation date of March 2026.",
