The devices will be used by students to enhance learning, improve access to digital educational resources, and support the Trust\u0027s digital strategy.\nThis procurement relates to the supply and delivery of new iPads with the following mandatory technical specifications:\nMinimum Technical Specification:\n\u2022\tDevice Type: Apple iPad, 11th Generation\n\u2022\tScreen Size: 11 inches\n\u2022\tProcessor: Apple A16 chip or latest equivalent\n\u2022\tStorage: Minimum 128 GB\n\u2022\tConnectivity: Wi-Fi only\n\u2022\tOperating System: Latest version of iPadOS installed\n\u2022\tCharging Port: USB-C\n\u2022\tBattery Life: Suitable for all-day classroom use\n\u2022\tAccessories Included: USB-C charging cable and power adapter (Genuine Apple products)\n\u2022 Fitted Screen Protectors and STM Dux Folio Protective Cases for all iPads\n\u2022\tWarranty: Minimum 12-month manufacturer\u0027s warranty\nQuantity:\n\u2022\tA total of 850 units are required - may be required to be delivered to 3 different sites.\n\u2022 Devices assigned to our three DEP instances for three separate schools\nPurpose:\nThese devices will be deployed for direct use by students in classroom settings across multiple school sites operated by the Trust. The devices must be durable and suitable for frequent handling by students in primary and secondary education.\nDelivery Requirements:\n\u2022\tDevices must be delivered to multiple school locations across the Trust (full addresses to be provided upon contract award).\n\u2022\tDelivery must be completed at schools by 31st August 2025.\n\u2022\tDevices should be boxed individually, with protective packaging and labelled where necessary.\n\u2022\tBidders must confirm their delivery lead times and any available logistical options.\nWarranty and Support:\n\u2022\tA minimum 1-year manufacturer\u0027s warranty is required.\n\u2022\tSuppliers are encouraged to outline any extended warranty options or service packages available.\nAdditional Considerations:\n\u2022\tAll equipment must be new and sourced through official or authorised Apple channels to ensure full compliance with warranty and support conditions.\n\u2022\tSuppliers should ensure compatibility with mobile device management (MDM) systems commonly used in schools.\nContract Type and Term:\n\u2022\tThis is a one-off supply contract, although the Contracting Authority reserves the right to purchase additional units under the same terms, subject to budget availability.\nEvaluation Criteria:\nThe contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT), considering:\n\u2022\tPrice\n\u2022\tDelivery timeframe\n\u2022\tCompliance with technical specifications\n\u2022\tWarranty and after-sales support\nProcedure:\nThis procurement will follow the Open Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023, as the contract value exceeds the current threshold.
