To mitigate risk of contamination impacting on the works additional ground investigation was instructed.\r\n\r\nIn addition it has been identified that other services are at risk within the underground trenches. A duct has been instructed to future proof the routing of new services while trenches are open. \r\n\r\nNot instructing the above would increase the risk of operatives and staff being exposed to contaminants.",
