The HIV Peer Support Service will work closely with newly forming partnerships to implement a universal offer of peer support as an integral part of the HIV pathway, supporting people newly diagnosed and those lost to follow-up to help people to self-manage, deal with HIV related stigma and improve their well-being. Patients will be identified and offered screening within the emergency department at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust and offered the peer support service. A provider has been identified who covers the geographical area of the ICB. This is a fixed cost contract. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period, which begins the day that this notice is published. The standstill period ends at midnight on 30th May 2025.
