    "description": "DfT provision of a C++ Programmer\nThe supplier will be providing technical support on the C++ part of the DfT National Aviation Passenger Allocation Model (NAPAM). The supplier will work alongside other transport modellers, economists, and analysts to develop and maintain NAPAM. \nThe central part of this model is a bespoke module written using Microsoft .NET C++ environment with Excel used to input/output data (c. 10,000 lines of code). This module performs mathematical calculations iteratively until a solution that meets user defined inputs is achieved (e.g. passengers at a particular airport not exceeding a set value). \nThe requirement entails providing ad-hoc software development support of the bespoke C++ module to expert users \nThe contract duration is for 3-years (36-months), with no option to extend. This contract is a call-off with a maximum budget of \u00a3120,000.00 excluding VAT.
