Lot Description: The contract is to deliver community dental services in Bassetlaw.<br/><br/>NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board intends to award a contract to the existing provider, Rotherham Hospital via Direct Award Process C as described in Regulation 9 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.<br/><br/>The provider has a specialist trained integrated workforce to deliver the Community Dental Services for Bassetlaw and is the existing provider of the services. They have satisfactory performance and there are no alternative providers within the local area. Through this award the Commissioner is mitigating a service gap for a vulnerable cohort of patients.<br/><br/>The contract start date is 1st April 2024 for a period of 1 year until 31st March 2025.<br/><br/>The approximate total lifetime value of the contract is estimated to be £337,355.14.

The experienced provider has measures in place to address patients subject to digital exclusion and the location of the service is not only well known by being placed in a hospital along with strong transport links, but also has substantial provision to access in terms on patients with mobility needs.   \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eSocial Value - strong transport links with good connectivity which will reduce journey frequency and times. Provider is able to manage patients both holistically and clinically to address multiple neds and reduce the need for multiple appointments and therefore journeys made. Provider is a Hospital Trust with strong \"inclusive and good\" employment practices.  \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eThe assessment against each criterion was undertaken based on the current service delivery\u003cbr/\u003emodel and performance.
