              "text": "National Gas Transmission owns and operates Britain\u0027s National Transmission System (NTS), a nationwide network that transports gas from entry points to power stations, industry, storage facilities, gas distribution networks serving homes and businesses, and international interconnectors. The NTS includes around 5,000 miles of pipeline, over 60 compressors across 21 stations, and more than 500 aboveground installations.
