There is 32 Terra Bytes of data being hosted covering 6,730 lane Km\u2019s.\nAs part of the RIS 2 National Concrete Roads Programme, National Highways had access to the K-Portal, an end-to-end digital delivery platform developed and hosted by KOREC. This platform supports key project functions including:\n\u2022\tHosting of survey data,\n\u2022\tDownload of surveys by designers,\n\u2022\tUpload of designs for construction,\n\u2022\tDownload of designs by contractors and,\n\u2022\tUpload of \u2018As Built\u2019 information in real time.\nThis extension will provide time to:\n\u2022\tFully evaluate the future role of K-Portal in National Highways\u2019 digital ecosystem,\n\u2022\tDevelop and implement a sustainable data migration or integration plan if transitioning away from the platform and,\n\u2022\tPrevent disruption to live and future projects currently using or depending on K-Portal workflows.",

There is 32 Terra Bytes of data being hosted covering 6,730 lane Km\u2019s. Seeking an alternative external solution would require significantly longer and significantly higher funding. In the meantime, continued access to K-portal is essential for assessing the best solutions for the multi RIS, multi billion pound concrete roads programme.",
