This requires the building to\nachieve the highest possible level of energy efficiency from the\nbuilding fabric and its services installation and for the\nembodied carbon employed in the structure of the building to\nbe minimised and ideally repaid by the renewable energy\ncreated by the building within its service lifespan.",
