Drawing on the expertise of all of these teams, the aim is to clarify what the LGA needs to take into early engagement with the incoming DHSC Director General for Digital Technology and others. Its purpose is to build the foundations for the LGA\u2019s strategic positioning, ensuring we are evidence ready, aligned across partners, and equipped with a strong, coherent narrative before approaching DHSC.\nThe sprint will map existing evidence, identify critical gaps, and synthesise what the LGA and partners already know about local government\u2019s role in shaping health, social care and community wellbeing outcomes. It will consolidate sector insight to create a validated collective local government voice informed by ADASS, Socitm, LOTI, Solace, DSCAG, iNetwork and others.\nIt will assess where local government, and the LGA specifically, is currently positioned in DHSC\u2019s thinking, particularly in the context of the 10-year plan framing and analyse systemic issues such as digital inclusion and connectivity, interoperability and legacy system challenges, data sharing blind spots, digital ethics, and opportunities such as use of technology to aid or replace care and empower people who draw on care and support and their carers, quality and safety improvements and support for much greater productivity and demand management.\nThe LGA is looking for an intelligent writer and convenor, a synthesiser of ideas and a driver for a 4-6 week sprint.\nThe person will have a track record of similar project work and demonstrable ability and capacity to meet deadlines.",
