    "description": "Gloucestershire County Council is seeking to procure up to 20 Pathway 2 Beds within CQC registered nursing care homes located in Gloucester. These beds will support people who no longer require acute hospital care but need short term, outcome focused nursing support before returning home.\nThe Council is seeking high quality nursing care provision delivered within established care homes that can demonstrate strong clinical oversight, safe staffing levels, and effective multidisciplinary working to support timely discharge pathways, along with their own or commissioned therapy (OT and/or Physio) and a dedicated GP to support the beds.\nProviders will be able to submit tenders for:\nTenderers must submit all the requirements and documents stated in section 7 of the invitation to tender document. \n\u2022\tA minimum of 5 beds\n\u2022\tUp to a maximum of 20 beds. \n\u2022\tContract start date (estimated)   estimated - 1st June 2026\n\u2022\tContract end date without any extension - 31st March 2028\n\u2022\tThe total estimated value of the block contract is \u00a32.6 million over two years, rising to \u00a35.2 million over four years if the optional two-year extension is taken, subject to demand and available funding.\nInitial contract length is 2 year, plus a further two years subject to demand and available funding.",
