    "description": "Queen\u0027s has a requirement for an experienced Supplier(s) to provide a comprehensive waste management services to various locations across the University campus. The services to be delivered under this Contract shall be provided under four separate lots as follows:\n\u2022 Lot 1: Commercial Waste and Recycling Services\n\u2022 Lot 2: Confidential Waste and Non-Confidential Paper Waste\n\u2022 Lot 3: Chemical/Hazardous Waste\n\u2022 Lot 4: Clinical Waste\nApplicants are invited to tender for Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4 or any combination of lots. Lots will be evaluated independently and Queen\u0027s reserves the right to award each Lot separately. The key objectives of the Contract (Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4) are as follows:\n\u2022 Effectively manage waste according to the principles of the Waste Hierarchy, supporting and aligning with the development of a circular approach to resource management.\n\u2022 Provide optimum, consistent service levels and ongoing value for money throughout the contract.\n\u2022 Provision of external bins/skips (with Queen\u0027s specific signage, as required).\n\u2022 Provision of regular management information, consolidated invoices and transfer notes.\n\u2022 Ongoing prevention of waste, increase in recycling rates and working towards zero waste to landfill.\n\u2022 Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice.",
