    "description": "\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bNorthern Gas Networks (NGN)\u202fseeks\u202fto\u202festablish\u202fa zero-value framework agreement with qualified suppliers to provide appliance supply (where NGN\u0027s Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) will fit appliance) and/or supply \u0026 installation services (where NGN\u0027s DLO team is unable to deliver). This initiative supports NGN\u0027s commitment to\u202fassisting\u202fcustomers in vulnerable situations, funded by Ofgem.\u202f \n\u200b\u200bThe framework will appoint to a maximum of twelve suppliers (6 for supply only and 6 for supply \u0026 installation), aligned to NGN\u0027s geographic patches, with Cumbria\u202fdesignated\u202fas a standalone area. This structure is designed to enable participation from smaller SMEs while ensuring coverage across the network. Suppliers will\u202fbe responsible for either supply of appliances only or the supply, installation, repair, or replacement of gas appliances for eligible customers. Selection for individual jobs will be based on location, price, and availability at the time of request.\u202f \n\u200b\u200bAll participating suppliers must\u202falign\u202fwith OFGEM governance\u202fand meet mandatory competency and regulatory standards, including:\u202f \n\u200b\u200bGas Safe registration\u202f \n\u200b\u200bCertification in CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, and HTR1\u202f \n\u200b\u200bValid waste carrier licence\u202f \n\u200b\u200bThe scope of work is network-wide, ensuring\u202ftimely\u202fand safe delivery of essential services to vulnerable customers,\u202fidentified\u202fthrough carbon monoxide investigations or during repair and maintenance activities on the gas distribution network.\u202f \n\u200b\u200bThis framework aims to strengthen NGN\u0027s ability to respond quickly and effectively to customer needs,\u202fmaintaining\u202fcompliance with industry standards while promoting inclusivity for smaller suppliers.\u202f \n\u200bNGN will award to a maximum of 12 suppliers for the whole Framework.\u202f \n\u200bThis consists of:\u202f \n\u200bA max of 1 supplier per area for supply \u0026 installation \n\u200bA max of 1 supplier per area for supply only \n\u200bWith 6 areas that\u0027s a max supply of 6 suppliers for each supply type.\u202f",
