"description": "GMCA are seeking to provide a new HWRC facility at Reliance Street to improve recycling\nrates, improve traffic management and provide improved waste segregation. The existing\nfacility is an aging asset with a small and inefficient layout.\nThe proposed development has been designed to ensure efficiency of movement from both\npublic and operational perspectives, from a public point of view, this means provision of\nseparate entrance and exit off Reliance Street and provision of double lane width around\nthe one-way system.\nThis layout will improve access and traffic management particularly in higher volume\nperiods, allowing Suez to safely manage traffic during higher demand periods.\nThe scope of the works for related to the proposed HWRC includes, but is not limited to:\nSite establishment \u2013 accommodation, welfare and enabling works.\nPage 4 to 8\nSite clearance works\nDemolition and removal of structures, slabs and services\nGround works, all below ground construction and drainage activities\nPilling works and structures, concrete works and surface finishes as per the tender\ndrawings and pilling details provided in Appendix D \u2013 Kellers Pilling Proposal\nBoundary fencing, railings, access stairs and barriers\nAll white lining and pedestrian line colour markings and site signage.\nInstallation and integration of re-use shop and welfare building (Reuse container and\nwelfare building to be supplied by GMCA)\nElectrical, Lighting, CCTV and other service installations\nAll required testing and commissioning\nSite De-mobilisation\nProject completion",
