The delivery model has\nproved effective with a good range of clinical, in\nreach and outreach activities. Innovation has been\nevident throughout the contract, and the provider\nhas evidenced strong and respected online\nprovision of STI testing kits with good return rates.\nThe Provider has demonstrated a strong use of\ndigital platforms with an effective website, web chat,\ntext chat, online health promotion materials, and\nactive social media. Preventative interventions such\nas the condom distribution scheme have been\neffective and improved during the current contract.\nCriterion 2: Integration, collaboration and service\nsustainability \u2013 weighting 25%\nThe Provider has worked as a system leader\nincluding through the Women\u2019s Health Hubs, PreP,\nMpox vaccinations and development of\nalternative/innovative methods of service delivery.\nThey have made services accessible to women,\nLGBTQI groups and older adults. The Provider has\nevidenced working with private, statutory and\nvoluntary sectors, and building pathways to deliver\neffective HIV care to adults and the use of peer\nsupporters.\nCriterion 3: Quality and Innovation \u2013 weighting 20%\nThe Provider evidenced quality with their recent\nCQC rating of outstanding, strong safeguarding\nprocesses, and transparent data reporting during\nthe current contract. The Provider has\ndemonstrated that innovation has been central to\nthe service development since 2016 and improved\npatient choice, long-acting reversible contraception\nprocesses, online testing, and the online condom\nscheme. The Provider has demonstrated service\nuser engagement, co design, and co-delivery\nthrough the peer programme and evidenced that\nthe learning been disseminated to the wider\nsystem.\nCriterion 4: Social value - weighted 5%\nThe provider has set out social value commitments\nin accordance with the Council\u0027s Social Value\nrequirements.\nCriterion 5: Value - weighted 20%\nThe Provider confirmed delivery of the service\nwithin the financial envelope.\nIn conclusion, the Provider has demonstrated\ndelivery of high quality, cost effective and\naccessible sexual health services since 2016 and\nassured commissioners that this will continue in the\nnew contract."

    "description": "The provision of open access sexual health services is a mandated function for Local Authorities under regulation 6 of the Local Authorities (Public Health Function and Entry to premises by local Healthwatch Representatives) Regulations 2013.
