    "description": "The Young People\u2019s Sexual Health service will be targeted at young people aged 13 to 24 years that are sexually active and at most at risk of poor sexual health outcomes. The Service will provide evidence to support young people\u2019s sexual health services, alongside system leadership, oversight and quality assurance for sexual health services delivered in primary care and other community settings in Redbridge (including the local Chlamydia screening and condom distribution programmes). The delivery of case management of uncomplicated chlamydia, uncomplicated contact tracing/partner notification and service evaluation have also been incorporated. The Provider will also work closely with the LA and Integrated sexual health services to provide oversight of the delivery of an high quality emergency contraception service.",

The awarding of this\ncontract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations\n2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.\nIn accordance with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023,\nthe London Borough of Redbridge intends to apply Direct Award Process C to award this\nContract to its existing provider, Via Community Ltd. The duration of the contract will be 36\nmonths from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028, with the possibility of a further extension period\nof up to 24 months, until 31 March 2030.\nThe standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations\nby providers must be made to decision makers by midnight 7th April 2025. This contract\nhas not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.\nThe Key Criteria used and weighted by the authority were as follows;\nQuality and Innovation 30%\nValue 20%\nIntegration, collaboration, and service sustainability 20%\nImproving access, reducing health inequalities, and facilitating choice 20%\nSocial value 10%\nThe rationale for this was based on the detailed list of all requirements according to available guidance including factoring in the relative weighting from the original tender submission.\nKey Performance Indicators from the original contract determined that the existing provider\nsatisfied the existing contract to a sufficient standard.\nNo conflicts of interest were identified among individuals involved in making the decision in\nrelation to this service.",
