    "description": "The Department of Health and Social Care has entered into a contract for the deliver of the National HIV Prevention (England) Programme for the next 3 financial years 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29.\nThe programme focusses on populations disproportionately affected by HIV in whom the evidence demonstrates a higher or emerging burden of infection, or specific challenges in accessing prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care. This includes, but is not limited to, white GBMSM, ethnic minority GBMSM, black African heterosexual women, black African heterosexual men and other ethnic minority heterosexuals. \nThe Programme aims to:  \n\u2022 Improve awareness, knowledge, understanding and uptake of combination HIV prevention interventions, among populations most affected by HIV;  \n\u2022 Provide targeted HIV testing which reaches communities with unmet need to reduce the undiagnosed population and proportion of late diagnoses and reduce pressures on the NHS, supporting wider government priorities. This should include low HIV prevalence areas;  \n\u2022 Reduce inequalities in access to HIV prevention interventions by exposure, gender, geography and ethnicity  \n\u2022 Reduce levels of HIV related stigma, particularly self-stigma and stigma within different communities \n\u2022 Enhance collaboration across national, regional and local partners and multi-sector organisations.  \nContract Term: 3 years starting 1st April 2026\nMaximum contract yearly value: \u00a31,333,334 per year exclusive of VAT; \u00a31,600,000 per year inclusive of VAT\nMaximum total Contract Value: \u00a34,000,000 exclusive of VAT; \u00a34,800,000 inclusive of VAT",
