Description

The Authority’s Substance Use Recovery Strategy commits to the delivery of four (4) strategic priorities: prevention & early intervention; contributing to safe and healthy environments; responsive system of care and support recovery. The Service shall work within the local health and care system to deliver most (75%) of elements in this strategy through collaboration and support from local commissioners. The Authority requires the treatment system to be recovery focused in what it delivers and to ensure streamlined assessment and data processes. In addition the Service, shall ensure that the system works effectively for Service Users, irrespective of the substance involved, and ensures parity of intervention access through the Service User’s journey.
