    "description": "NHS East of England is procuring a Lived Experience Commissioning Support service to involve individuals with first-hand experience of the criminal justice system in shaping health and justice services. This supports NHS England\u2019s statutory duty under Section 13Q to involve patients and the public in commissioning, ensuring services are inclusive, effective, and informed by real experiences ahead of new provider contracts starting on 1 April 2026.\nThe service will be procured via a Mini Competition under the Lived Experience Framework (AG23606/LEF). NHS East of England intends to utilise all relevant sub-lots within the framework, covering a broad spectrum of service areas, including:\n\u2022 Adult male and female prisons\n\u2022 Immigration Removal Centres (IRCs)\n\u2022 Non-custodial services (e.g. Liaison \u0026 Diversion, Mental Health)\n\u2022 Community-based Health \u0026 Justice\n\u2022 Veterans\u2019 mental health and justice services\n\u2022 Armed Forces community support\n\u2022 Sexual assault and abuse services\n\u2022 Children and Young People in secure settings (Justice and Welfare)\n\u2022 Vulnerable children and young people in the community\n\u2022 Learning disability, neurodiversity, and autism (including Care and Treatment Reviews)\nThis Mini Competition route enables NHS East of England to define specific local requirements across these areas, ensuring bids are tailored and responsive. By using all applicable sub-lots, the region can ensure comprehensive coverage of lived experience input across all key pathways in health and justice commissioning.",
